Lowes in Medford has Timber Heat and Green Supremes for $4.98 a bag, $4.75 the ton. Big price increase from last year, about 60 cents.

Hopefully prices will come down later in the season, but who knows.

$219.00 Last Year, $249.00 this year!
Big Jump, but I can still get 10% Military discount.

10% is a great discount. Some forum members also use store coupons to bring it down some more. Where in LI are you looking for pellets? I go to Medford Lowes mostly, and then I go to the Lowes in Riverhead for the premium stuff.

I went apple picking today in the Hudson Valley and happened to come across a pellet store that had Hamers Hot Ones. So I picked up 5 bags. Really excited to try them for the first time. They smell real nice.

Hicksville, hence I purchase at Hicksville bLowes! They sold really dusty pellets last year, which totally sucked.
I need to find a 20% discount coupon just to bring them down to last year's pricing.

Lowes in Farmingdale only has North American Pellets, hardwood/softwood blend. Local HD has some Stove Chows from last year, said they have a new shipment in but don't know what brand. I paid for 3 ton from Lowes but depending on what HD has may change my order. Prices definitely up from past few years.

i was not impressed with the Stove Chow's from last year. Hopefully we will have more quality pellets this year. Riverhead Lowes had Somersets and Presto Logs last year, which were very good. I still have 2 tons of Somersets from last year.
