Woke up feeling chilly around midnite, hmmmmm, didnt hear the pellet blower......just loaded stove before bed at 9pm, hopper is full, turn stove on and hear the motor hum every cycle, so that's ok, didnt feel like messing with it so I turned on the oil heat:mad: for the night, got a poor sleep due to the furnace is below my bedroom, and loud forced air ducts coming on and off every 15mins, ARGH!
Wake up 5 am, pull stove out, turn it on, start auger, place finger on armature and push in, starts turning, so no auger jam EVER!!, the auger plate is pretty worn due to the pellets wearing, will need to be replaced soon as i saw it maybe 3-4 yeras ago,
So the 6cent fix lasted about 8 or so years, had some small thin washers in the toolbox and fitted perfect, 30 mins work with a good cleaning and up and running!!
