i'm thinking that i heard something about a minimum height dimension for a stove installed in a garage ?
no cars stored here but regs are regs
reworking the stove now and thinking about raising it a bit to save the back
would rather build an appropriate steel riser for it than just putting it on cinder blocks.........
wondering about that target dimension

You need to direct this question to your local Authority Having Jurisdiction. In many areas, solid fuel-burning appliances are absolutely forbidden in any garage...regardless of how you promise to use the space. In other areas, they're allowed in detached garages, but not attached ones. In other areas they're allowed, but only if elevated some distance off the floor. There is no single rule which applies everywhere. Gotta talk with the folks who enforce the local codes. Rick
