I've had past threads about a possible upgrade to my Homestead stove because I do well when it is 20F +, but on colder days or windy days I have to supplement with natural gas.
How much, if at all, will this help?
This summer, I'm redoing the walls and floors in the stove room. Currently the stove vents striaght back, through the fireplace. Here's an old photo of the liner before the stove was placed in and some of the wood and brick work was modified
