I have had this ventless fireplace for 4yrs. so far it has been flawless. recently it seems to delay on igniting. t-stat calls for heat then propane does not ignite right away like it used to. when it does ignite there is a large 'WOOSH' of flame then it runs normal. it is not consistent, sometimes normal operation. pilot light is lit, just seems it takes a bit for it to ignite. anyone have anything like this happen?

yes ...one or two things you can check. There are some small holes right next to the pilot on the burner, make sure these are clean and open to allow gas to flow. They tend to get alot of white particles on them from the combustion process. You can turn the pilot out and blow some air back through it to clean your pilot O.D.S..

ok, thanks i'll take a look at it when i get home. i think i have some canned air to blow it out.
