Morso 2B adapter / double wall choices?

So scratch that above comment, I actually thought I had the solution but I'm still stuck.
I'm totally confused. The inside diameter of the 2b collar is just shy of 6". I thought by buying the Duravent DVL adapter that I had the solution. Not even close.
The ridged part of the adapter is way too small for the collar that is on the 2b. Does anyone know what adapter ports to the Morso 2B so that it accepts double wall DVL pipe? Am I overthinking this and instead just slide the double wall over the collar?
