Good day all!

I installed a Mount Vernon unit last year and everything worked like a charm. THis year however there have been intermittent issues with the control box blinking with no way to clear it out. The only way to correct has been to unplug the unit to reset it. The unit might be fine for a week and then it will blink off and on sporatically for a few days then return to normal. When the stove is operating it operates just fine, however the other day it did not shut down and the room it was in got up to 85 degrees. Anyone have any advice as to what may be the problem?

Thanks in advance!
- Jeff

The blinking lights are a code the stoves telling you. Your dealer should be able to tell you, if not call the manufacurer. Codes should be in the owners manual but not sure if they are.

When you say the control box do you mean the thermostat/wall control? I had this problem when the wall control didn't match the latest control board.
One way to get the wall control to stop blinking without shutting down the stove is to pop the face plate off the wall control and plug it back in.

In any event if you don't have the srv7000-456C control board with the latest wall control your dealer should be able to get them to you as a warranty item.

If you are talking about the keypad going blank, call the dealer and they should hook you up with a new keypad. There was a problem with them blanking out like that which was corrected.

If you just got it last year, you should still be covered under warrantee. Like others said, call you dealer.
