Moving an Alderlea T5 advice

The door gasket is loose in several places and is . The glass gasket is no good but there is a new one coming with the glass. I don’t have a baffle gasket, I’ll see if the dealer has one , what material do those who make their own use? Is it the same material as the door gasket is made from.
 
I used 3/8" bulk rope gasket from the hardware store to make a baffle gasket. Might be Rutland.
