Hello,
We have this stove that was just installed and the hearth it’s currently on is temporary. It’s a tight corner so when we build the permanent hearth the stove is going to need to be moved back an inch or 2. The stove pipe is double wall. The circled pipe is 12” and I think the next size down is 6”. This section would need to be shorter to move the stove back. Would we need to rebuild from the ceiling support box down? Instead of angling right up into the box a short run going down from the support box to make up the distance so we can have a 6” piece put in?

I would grab a 6” slip & a 12” slip & see which one works best for you. Return the unneeded one…
