I have a whole lotta LG Granules to burn this season. I'm curious what settings others owners have found work best (flame height, etc). I realize YMMV, etc. I'm just wondering if there is a consensus.

i burn softwood pellets on softwood setting. run on auto. flame height @ -2. temp differential @ 1.5

No experience yet. I've only burned NEWP hardwood so far.

I've got LG's for this year, and next too, and I'm very happy with them so far. The acid test will be when it gets cold, but so far they burn great with no clinkers. They burn well on all setttings from low to high, so I don't see any "best" setting yet.

I love the softwood pellets in my Mt vernon AE. I use the manual setting, softwood setting @ 3 degrees temp differential and the flame set at -2. I do change it at times depending on the pellet I am burning.

pellet burner, that's what I'm using at the moment for my LG's. Like minds, I suppose.
