Thanks everybody! So many questions.... Well, the sides are not pallets, size is about 13 x9x9 feet . Front and back it's totally open, except for,same bracing on the back. Wood has been stored in different location. Split about year ago. I have same oak, beech. I am new to wood burning, lerning about seasoning and all that good stuff. Shed gets plenty of sun specially on the back.

The oak will almost surely not be dry; it usually needs a minimum of two years. Did you top cover the stacks when you dried them? The wood just does not have the typically weathered look of seasoned wood. In addition, sun helps with drying but wind is even more important. The way it is stacked I doubt is still seasoning much. Nevertheless, great shed to put the wood in once it is dry.

Maybe get a moisture meter and test some pieces. It would be a shame to burn that oak without it being fully seasoned not to mention pretty unsafe.

Thanks Grisu, oak it's on the back and I will not use it this year. Gets plenty of sun and wind. Beech looks ok and I did burn it yesterday afternoon. I have a one story rancher, open plan. Very nice and warm all over.Temp outside about 35 F. I really like my stove . I start fire from the top down, works great with dry kindling .
