Feeling the Heat
That particular deck is 500 cord. We have 4 other smaller decks which have between 75 to 125 cord each. Too much inventory...most of that was supposed to have sold last winter. Lower fuel prices, mild temps, hardwood pulp market crashed, all had their affect on sales.
We are going to have some great looking wood for next year, though ! Got to get my electric chainsaw sharpened and put a coat of Butchers Floor Wax on the splitting maul.
