Have a question:

I am needing to replace a few parts on the insert this fall. One of which is what I (assume) is the “airways gasket and shield”, part number W010-0347 with Napoleon according to my manual. This part/piece I am referencing is a piece of metal that sits directly above the door glass (when closed) and is affixed to the stove with three bolts/nuts. The piece has a curved lip that curves downward towards the glass when the door is closed.

Am I referencing the correct part/piece of I am to call Napoleon and order?

I have attached a few screen shots from my manual. Problem is, the parts list references the part however; the photos do not correspond with the part to let me visually confirm the part I want to replace.

I can take photos from inside the stove if that helps. The part obviously is all beat up, hence replacement. Over the last 6 years, it’s nust bent and gnarly from some aggressive loads on my part. Late nights and beer have nothing to do with that.....I promise....:)

Here are a few photos. Best I could do...hard to get a good photo given how close I had to take the photo.

The piece in question is the one that has a “rust” like color and is clearly bent and misshapen.

I found another screen shot in my manual. This applies to the stove version, but same principals apply (photo attached). It provides more info.

I worry about the air wash gasket being attached to the secondary burn manifold. Is this something I should have my dealer replace? I’ve heard stories of damaging cats and manifolds when taking them apart.

Let me know your thoughts.

Sorry for the crazy long posts and questions....
