My wife and I want to put a wood-burning insert in the existing (unused) fireplace in our new house. We don't want to resize the existing fireplace, but unforunately it's quite narrow. 23 5/8" wide x 30" tall with a depth of about 18". The only model I've tracked down so far that will fit is the Lodi Republic 1250, but it's quite expensive. Can anyone point me toward any other models that will fit in our narrow fireplace?
