So I rolled the dice again and went in on a home depot order with my neighbor. We join up to cut down on delivery costs.

Last year this worked out as we ended up with fire side pellets which burned very well. I used them mostly as a shoulder season pellet but they performed in 20 degree weather just fine.

This year I got the call saying the pellets had arrived. Went over to tarp them and found 2 tons of ntions choice. I'm not super worried, I think my stove can handle them, just hoping the heat output isn't horrible.

I've read past reviews and it's a mixed bag leaning towards negative. But the packaging is also different, has anyone burned these this year? Can you compare them to years past? Maybe I'll be buying a ton or two more of something good to mix these with.

And that's coming from a guy with 2 stoves that will burn anything!
Roger that....use them for traction during snow and mud season...

heh. I'll let you know next week. We'll call it a learning lesson. Luckly I have plenty of room in the cellar for more pellets :)

I hope they burn good for you.....worst case you gave to attend to your stove a little more but you will get through them...and if you got them at a good price no harm done

Edit....just noticed you have the M55.....I think you will be just fine!
