Howdy folks, I'm looking to put a new insert in our outdated fireplace but it is pretty small and looking at dimensions, one of the only inserts that will fit is the Neo 1.6 I know the firebox is 1.6 cubic feet, but how deep is the inside of the firebox? (or how tall, deep and wide the firebox it is would be helpful as well)

Welcome. To get a rough idea of the firebox layout look at the firebrick pattern. The Neo 1.6 is 1 brick deep or 9". The bricks usually have a lip before the door. If so you may gain an inch or so in depth.

No problem, it's a good question.
