Local place has these for $229.00/ton. Id llike to hear from those who have experience with them, and what do you think of the price?

stellep said:They burn ok for me. Not the hottest pellet, but not too much ash and pretty clean(fines, glass etc). These were the best I could do at the beginning of the season and the price was right(~$4). They do leave some crap in the burnpot. Not clicker, more like dense ash. I have to break it up with a plastic putty knife daily. In a normal(single digit) winter, they probably would struggle.

BAREFOOTS are great pellets. They produced great heat with little ash. NEWP doesn't come close to barefoots. I plan on stocking up my stash with barefoots as soon as I can make more room for them. I plan bulding a 12x12 shed to store my lawn and garden stuff, but maybe it should be bigger in order to store pellets in there too.
