new pelpro60 stove

just switched from us stove Ashley 5500m to pelpro 60.so far so good.was wondering if when cleaning you need to shut completely off(like burn pot etc)with Ashley could open door and stir fire pot.going to take getting used to but putting out heat and very happy

I open the hopper lid to let the flame die down and then I will stir the pot quickly. The Pelpro does benefit from a daily shutdown and pot clean like the manual says, but I've gone two days.
