Not a whole lot on the forum about this unit because it’s newer, being the replacement for the Pearl 3600 I believe. So I’ll update as the project is completed but as of today we have a fully functioning fireplace! Here are some pics, I’ll update once I’ve had a fire or two. I think the manual recommends a break-in fire to cure it and it’s supposed to be pretty fumy. Anyway, how does it look so far?

That's a clean look. Is the large hole where the chimney pipe passes through closed off now, with a firestop?

There’s a fire stop where the chimney passes through the ceiling, above the fireplace, yes. And it runs through the attic up through the top of the chase cover from there.
