Well, I finally pulled the trigger and had an Osburn 2400 insert installed with new stainless chimney liner last week. Now the education begins. We have had a few small fires so far, but it is about time to dig in and get to learning. Thanks for the all the tips and steering me in the right directions for the insert.

I am sure there will be many questions to come!
