Hiya all, I'm brand new in here and have some questions. My very soon to be wife likes the look of the Osburn 2200 the best out of all wood burning stoves. However, I see that it's only 63% efficient. Is this low?
Is this a good stove for the money?
My home is a 1500sq ranch. Ceiling fans in most rooms.
Thanks!

The 63% figure is the standardized, generic EPA figure. From what I've read it's the same for all stoves. We don't get a lot of Osburn reports here, but it specs out as a decent Canadian stove. Drolet, Napoleon and Pacific Energy Stoves are also made in Canada. The later is my favorite, but so is the stove that each of us owns.
