I'm in the position that I will be in a spot in NH, that is pretty much equidistant from the Home Depots in Hooksette, Manchester and Londonderry. Plus, on my way home, I will be within 5 miles of the one in Concord. I need to stop at one to get some lumber anyway, thus my question.

Does anyone know what pellet brands are at which stores? I believe Concord is out as they haven't had any for the last 10 days. Last I knew (last weekend), Londonderry had FSU's and I picked some up.

Anyone have info on any of those stores? Not that I need pellets (I've got almost 2 tons in basement and 40 bags at local dealer waiting for pickup), but while I stopping at an HD anyway, I thought I would see which store has what brands.

The situation changes so frequently, your best bet is to call each store and ask what they have on hand. Keep in mind, YMMV. In some cases you will get "huh, pellets?" and in others you will get "Oh yeah, we just received in a shipment of Stove Chows". Either way, be prepared to deal with attitude because I suspect they are sick of people calling asking about pellets these days :) It's just that time of year. Happy hunting!

Went to lowes & HD in providence and smithfield both had plenty of Green supremes. Ill wait to find something else unless of course I cant . Really like stove chow.

I think Hooksett and Londonderry have (had) FSU's. I bought a ton at Londonderry last weekend. I always ask for the garden department and have had good luck getting a straight answer. No Blazers to be found......

But..... if your wallet is fat.....Agway in Hooksett has LaCrete's and Hearthworks in Hooksett have Vermont's.

Well, went to HD in Salem and Londonderry NH in past 2 days, both are out of pellets. :(

I ended up going to Hooksett HD for my lumber as it was easiest to get to and they didn't have any. pellets. I didn't ask if they were expecting any more shipments though ()I should have, just to report back on here - sorry I didn't think of it).

Well, like I said, I don't "need" pellets, so not looking to open up my wallet. Heck, the Agway here in my town probably has pellets but don't want to pay that much when I still have plenty anyway. I did go right by Hearthworks yesterday, but since they don't have lumber or plumbing supplies, I had no real incentive to stop.

Thanks for everyone's replies!

HD in Keene, NH were out but expecting a shipment in two or three days. Ace Hardware had Barefoot's and NEWP's but a ten bag limit. In the parking lot of Agway there were several tons of wood pellets in the front parking lot but I didn't drive in to check the brand. In the past, they've had AWF Ultras. Last time I asked, they were selling whatever they had for $300/ton.

Hooksett has FSU

I will sell a ton of blaser for $315

Just an FYI, was at HD in Manchester at lunch yesterday for an exchange (picked up 5" wide instead of 4" wide lumber) and asked if they had pellets. The didn't then but were expecting a couple of shipments. However, he also said the first shipment was already supposed to have happened and they haven't gotten an update for when it will actually make it there, so timing is up in the air. He did say that Londonderry has 50 tons (seems like a lot to me, so maybe I misunderstood).

50 tons is only about two trailer loads..
Our local HD got a load in, and six people bought it out...
It doesn't last long at that clip.

When you pick up at 15 bags at a time, 50 tons seems like a lot - regardless that I will go thru 5-6 tons this year, I somehow don't think of people picking up a couple of tons at a time.

When I bought my blazer I bought 8 tons on the spot to be delivered

50 tons is a lot... to a consumer.

The point I was trying to make is, that when there is a shortage,
and one place, like an HD or Lowes, gets 22 tons,
they will probably sell that before noon...
That is what I meant by 50 tons not being a lot... It doesn't help as many people as you think,
when several buy 5 tons, for example.. That's only 4-5 customers..
And right now, this is what we see... in "this" area.
The BBS get a load in, and it's gone in a day..
YMMV... Some places are flush, ours does not happen to be currently.
Yes. 50 tons in your driveway is a lot!
50 tons at a dealer is cause to exercise caution.. ;)
We won't sell tonnage when the inventory gets that low.
Too many regulars to worry about..

Oh, I wasn't saying anything about your post, I was saying everything about my mindset. I should be thinking in terms of people buying tons at a time (look how many do it on this forum). I also know that when I did pick up pellets at the Hooksett HD a couple of weeks ago, there were plenty of people grabbing 10 bags at the same time, so it really can go fast.

Thank you! I snagged another 15 bags to get my season total up to an even 5 tons. There were 3 associates there who helped me load up my cart which was nice - took like 1 minute. Hoping this is enough as it seems this year may end up being the coldest, snowiest year ever.

And they will let the girl load her own dang 15 bags onto the cart, then into her car (and then unload it / stack it at home). No big deal, I don't mind the exercise - just find it funny. and no, I don't look like I need the exercise - LOL

Manchester HD got FSU pellets in last night. I just picked up 15 bags and they said they only have 5-6 tons left. They were flying out the door when I was there.

I'll burn my furniture before I buy pellets from Agway . Way overpriced ! Especially the 3 in my area
