Hello. I have found replacement kaowool insullation on the net, for as little as $4 per sq. ft. It's 2300 degree, and comes in 24" depth. So this is way cheaper than ordering the specific part from f/p dealer. I need to know if anyone has found a place, (other than the specific part number from dealer) to get the fiberboard, or the 13" firebrick? If anyone has a lead, please reply to this thread. Unreal of the replacement parts cost from the dealer. Oh, and never, never pay the price for replacement glass for one of these, via the dealer....it is a special high temp glass, no doubt, but can be found for 1/2 the cost, normally locally from your location. Just make sure you get the correct type of glass.
