My Pouland wild thing's oiler is no longer working.
Is this an easy thing to fix?
How would I remove the clutch to get to it?
Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Sentimental?
I should give it a try!
I could upgrade to a Jonsered® ??

Never enough saws!
Two locations.
Wild Thing lives in N.B. Canada
Always have some work to do up north.

Fix the the wild thing. They are not that bad of a saw for what they cost. Just remove the clutch which is left hand thread and replace the oil pump which are dirt cheap on line. Make sure your oil line from the tank is not plugged up with any crap from inside the tank.

Heck you get to learn something and it will not cost hardly any thing.

Before you attack the saw head, clean out your bar rail. 90% of the time people never do that. Saw dust and such packs into the channel effectively sealing off the oil port in the bar. also check the port behind the bar on the saw those get packed up also. Get that all clean. then run saw briefly without the bar on it and see if oil is being pumped out at that point. if not then a new oil pump maybe needed.

Done all that.
That's way easier than taking saw apart!

They make a tool that you can get for about 8 dollars on line free shipping to remove your clutch.

Another vote to keep the wildthing running if it isn't too much work. Mine seems to get better with age. I replaced the fuel lines for $12 and expect several more years out of it.
