Zap, our paths must have crossed. I was up at Horseshoe Lake for the last four days and was in Tupper Lake on two occasions. I was actually thinking of you when I was looking at all the beech and maple trees. The forest around there looks like some of your photos. How far are you from TL?

Tarmsolo60 we use to play in the Barnsider softball tournament every year (some good old parties in Tupper) that was when I first started going, over 30 years ago.
Canton/Potsdam area? We usually go that way when we head to Canada, crossing at Ogdensburg.
Nothing special happening at Horseshoe, just base camping there for some fishing on the Bog River with a couple of old friends. I spent half my time figuring out how to wire up my exhaust that I trashed on a rock on the way in, but my buddies caught plenty of tasty bass so we ate well. Weather was perfect for canoeing around Horseshoe.
