old GE central vacuum with a flannel bag around motor how to remove it?

bought it years ago cheap. . What a pain to clean Got to clean it under a b cramped basement stsirway with another vacuum like a shop vacuum.What jackasses would build something this STUPID way.?
I was a JAss for buying it. You could tell it was never used.Probably was in a GE display somewhere. It would prob choke a person to death unless it was out in the open like a garage. Wish now I would have never spotted it and bought it. What says yall brillant fellow members.? Please no Peanut galleries wisecracks...I think the paper says the 1960s. Thanks all Oh GE calls years ago had no help for me... Also there was no place else to have put it in this crazy built little house.....Jass for buying house also LOL
