I have a 1998 non ignitor P61, which I'm trying to get running on room mode. The instructions are very vague on how it works. I can't get it too work. When I set it on room mode ( room temp is 82) turn it up to 82 the status light comes on. Below it goes off and completely shuts down in like 15 minutes no cool off. It has a the new board in it set up for manual light. Any idea what's going on? My understanding is that it should basically turn itself down ( not off) until it hits the desired temperature. Which in this case was 75. It just shut completely off both fans, with ambers still glowing. It as a result cooked the exhaust fan. I wondered off and came back to find this. I turned it back to stove mode it started back up feeding pellets the exhaust fan screaming away and it came back to life. Can some one who has an old model like mine help me out?

I just did a search for information on a control card/stove without an igniter (no LED light , no Switch, no igniter) and I can't find much.
