The house we just bought has an older superior firplace company zero clearance fireplace. The model on the tag says 042. Looking online I dont see that model anywhere. The fireplace was obviously used by the prior tenants but is in need of some repair. It has refractory panels on the bottom and back wall but the sides have sheet metal inserts that screw in and cover the rear panel. It doesnt appear to have ever had side panels, I figured it would have. Now I'm unsure if I need to replace the bottom and rear panels only or do I need side panels as well? I was also looking for Damper parts as this one no longer has a damper at all. Any help is much appreciated!
