I am still fixing up wood stoves and wanted to post one of my stove projects because of its design. This model has been discussed some on this forum but not sure if anyone posted any pictures of it. So, this is for you stove lovers.

This is an Earth Stove made in Tualatin, Oregon model number 706-806-M/R. I picked this stove up for around $50.00 and figured I could not go wrong for that price. I could not find a date on the tag so am not sure of the year.

As you can see this Earth Stove has rounded edges so in order to install secondary burn system, I had to cut off the back and then weld it back on. The silver trim used to be brass but was so rusted there was not much I could do with it but put it on my grinder with a wire wheel and then paint it.

The secondary system worked greats and with the thermostat it held a good, regulated heat. (which is under the ashtray lip) I could not find any pictures of this model on the internet so thought we could have it on record on this site.

The fire box is very tiny which was a real downside for selling it, but a couple came and picked it up for her she shed.

I installed a new fan on the back as the old fan was in the way of the secondary intake on the bottom middle bottom of the stove.

Looks good. I like the round corners.

That's quite the project. The stove finished off nicely.
