Hi, We picked up a used Lillehammer that appears to be a great shape, though it's older. The homeowner bought it with the house and never lit it, so they couldn't tell us anything about it -- the price was great so we took a gamble. We hooked it up and lit the pilot (no trouble with that) with the burner control switch set to off, and after a minute or two the burners lit. Toggling the switch had no effect on the flame (which appeared too blue and will need to be adjusted, if that's relevant but I can't imagine that's the issue here) and we turned off the gas by switching the valve on the gas line and haven't touched it again. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Where to start, aside from calling a technician? Thanks!

Pop the switch out of it's panel, disconnect the wiring from the switch, & relight the pilot.
