Records falling everywhere here in New England this year! Brady, Moss, Patriots..Congrats!! Boston Ma needs 1.5" additional snow for the all time snowiest December. Concord NH needs about 7" for the snowiest December ever going back to the 1860's. Northeast looks to be in for an additional 4-8 tonight and tomorrow. Then likely to be an additional 4-8, especially in Northern New England and Down East Maine on New Year's day and Tuesday night. I know snow isn't the same challenge for us wood burners as downright cold is, (should be quite cold Wed and Thurs this week, then warming to above normal here in the East for much of next week) but it sure makes it seem wintery. Glad I built my woodshed this year cause it's a PITA clearing all the snow day after day off my wood piles. 35.5" so far this month here in Newfields NH with measurable snow on 10 different days. The pictures of our house and the woodshed were taken on December 20, 2007, the last day of fall, 23" on the ground! Hmm...wonder what winter will be like??
