Hi guys,
I've just joined the forum!

Currently I have 1 Log burner in my conservatory fitted by my parents.
I have 1 multi fuel stove in my lounge fitted by me, both are great

However, I'm starting an open fire place project and need some guidance! I've got a cast iron Victorian fireplace' and so far I've knocked out the brickwork in the chimney to expose the fireplace.

What should the opening be lined in?
Has anybody got diagrams of components required in place?

Any help would be appreciated on my new project

Thanks,
Chris

Pics would be very helpful as we have a couple of onboard sweeps that may be able to identify and make suggestions based off of what you are working with.

Outside of that have you considered a consultation from a local sweep or mason familiar with chimneys?
