I have just purchased this little guy to heat my enclosed deck for the winter. I am new to the wood heat thing. Please give advice on what I will need to do to put it in safely. I have a wood deck.

That's an old Orley. They are quite radiant. In the US it would need 36" clearances all around. This could be reduced to 12" in back with proper wall shielding. Not sure what is required in Canada. Does this have an *" or 6" flue connection?
