I have an Osborne 3000 pellet stove. Recently the auger has been making a grinding noise. I removed the auger and cleaned everything. Reinstalled it and it is still happening. It isn’t constant, but rather it happens in short bursts every 40 seconds or so.
When I was cleaning the space the auger spins in, I noticed there was something protruding into this space. I didn’t know if this is a screw that is supposed to be there or if it was a build up of creosote.
This is my 2nd winter with the stove.
