Osburn wood insert choice and type of chimney liner questions

New to forum-Have a 2200 sq ft ranch- Would appreciate reactions/ user experience with the Osburn 2400 insert. Seems to be rated well and I like it. Also need advice on type of SS liner to use- 2ply with smooth interior? , which alloy 304 or 316? Any brand names recommended are welcomed. Also if anyone can recommend a good installer in Cincinnati area. Thanks for your time and ideas

I honestly dont know the osburn so i cant comment on that. But as far as liners go i feel that the 2ply stuff is the worst liner available on the market right now. It is very easy to damage when installing or cleaning. What we use for wood stoves is heavy wall flex liner. But i would recommend regular light wall over the 2ply stuff any day. You also should insulate what ever liner you choose and install a block off plate

Type in your zip code and you will get a large list of certified sweeps in your area. Ask them if they do installations. I'm sure many will say they do. Agreed on your choice of the Osburn. By all reports they are very solid stoves and good heaters.
