Two years with the VC Dauntless, the wife and I decided we've had enough of the downsides of this stove.
Feeling positive about our choice in a new stove.

What were your complaints against the VC? And how'd you manage to do the swap? Craigslist sell the "old" stove?

The Dauntless has thermostatically controlled combustion which doesn't work well for me. I get extremely high combustion temps, back puffing, & the glass is always black. Going to put both of my old stoves up for sale next month.
