P43 Combustion Blower Blade Disintegration

Question for y'all. Harman P43 has been working great for several years. This morning, I started it up and it ran for about 10 minutes before this popping noise and a god awful racket that followed. I assumed the combustion blower motor had given up. Tonight I took it apart and actually a blade broke off the blower paddle/fan. I was able to remove it and strangely I can just snap off the remaining blades like brittle plastic. Parts and pieces strewn out the exhaust as well.

Anyway, since I have it all apart, there is some play in the blower motor shaft. Should I replace that as well? Looks fairly straight forward, 3 screws and a couple wires? Or is the play "normal"? Appreciate the help.

Also, what is a good online source for Harman parts. Thanks

I would replace the motor since you have it apart anyway. If your Harman Dealer isn't an option for the parts many here have had good luck with stovepartsunlimited.com They can be a bit pricey. My stove dealer is always cheaper than the online sources.

I would go for as Harman Lover stated, go for whole thing and not have to hopefully ever worry about the fan-motor again. Keep the motor for spare. Maybe find a electric motor shop and see if they can replace the bushing-bearings and rout out any dust bunnies. I am a firm believer in some spare parts.
