Since I’m not afraid to show my ignorance and being really interested in this question as I’m in my first season with a summit classic, I’ll join this conversation.

In the video and article in the first post and article in the second, I’m not sure there is a contradiction. As far as ebt2 just going to JUST the secondary in the article in the second post, I do not understand how that could be even possible given the location of the EBT2?

I am also really interested in how the baffle air works in these. Maybe that is the source of my confusion? But, I doubt it.

I started option 4 in the Florida Bungalow article about my 2nd week of running the stove with a total aluminum tape (600 degree) block and magnet. That was so helpful!

Although this stove ‘seems’ easy and is beautiful, I don’t really get it.
But, it works great.

I am also starting the season with a new BK princess and have no questions there.
She seems complex, but isn’t.

Oh wait!

They may mean in the article from #2 above that PRACTICALLY speaking the ebt2 air all goes to the secondary. That seems reasonable.

Given my reply above, I should point out that I never, hardly ever, run all the way closed.

Thank you for the replies gentlemen, I am just surprised that the gentleman in the videos is claiming that when the EBT2 opens up that it brakes the draft and reduces the draw, all the while I was thinking that it added air to the secondary burn which actually makes it burn hotter and stronger actually increasing the chimney draw.
Anyone with more ideas and comments on this is welcomed.
