I am between these two wood stoves. My house is approx. 1200 sq. ft. well insulated except for 3 doors to the outside that are decently drafty (that we are eventually going to replace). We heat from the basement with our old wood stove now. I wanna know if the Super LE will sweat us out because of the 72,000 BTU compared to the Quadrafires 50,000. Also inquiring about burn times for the Super LE.

I think both are good stoves, but I'd prob prefer the PE. What stove is the new stove replacing?

Lots of old Shenandoahs still out there heating homes. You'll appreciate the nice new clean burning stove. Good luck.
