I was looking at replacing my firebrick. In the manual, I noticed that on the bottom, it has 3 smaller, random sized bricks.
One of each of the following sizes:
1 1/2" X 4 1/2" X 1 1/4"
4" X 4 1/2" X 1 1/4"
7 1/4” X 4 1/2” X 1 1/4”
And the rest are the standard 9” X 4 1/2” X 1 1/4” that are used on the walls.
Why would they use these three odd sized bricks? And they seem like they are placed in randomly, leaving gaps.
