So I cleaned out the stove last night and noticed what looked like peeling paint on the back piece of metal that holds the fire brick in place. I have read other threads on this and it turned out to be creosote. However after rubbing it off and looking at it is peeled paint and I can see shiny metal. It's only in this one spot...is this typical or is this and issue I should address with Buck stove as the unit is not even a month old

Paint inside the firebox is just overspray or for cosmetics. Don't worry about it.
