Pellet choices for Newbie 2014

Hello there, looking for help in choosing pellet choices for this winter. I have a Harman 52i insert.
Here are my choices. Please provide ranking 1-4 on which I should purchase and why?
Turman pellet
Vermont wood pellet
La Crete pellets
Okie DF

All good pellets, narrow down to $.

Okie DF are going to set you back about $350 per ton but are probably the cleanest, hottest burning pellet you can get or so I'm told.

All four of those are great options. It's tough to rate them 1 to 4. What are your prices, maybe that will help?

Still thinking I may do the La Crete for 3 pallets.

Question - Are the 4 options all from the same store? May be more trouble than it's worth to buy from multiple stores, each charging separate delivery fees, etc.

$350 / 1.2 ton (give or take $5 - $10) is the going rate around here.

I had Barefoot last winter... was the only thing I burned but thought it was good. Will be trying LaCrete's this winter after the Barefoot are gone (I hear the LaCrete are hotter). I purchased LaCrete for 309/ton plus delivery in July... Just get something good delivered right away in case there is a shortage this year. (I have electric baseboard heat and a 2,300 sq. ft. house, so I didn't delay my purchase)

Ended up buying 2 tons of Vermont's and 1 ton of Okie DF. Dealer was out of LaCrete's missed them by one day

Best place i think to buy pellets. The Correia Family are very nice people. They won't stare you down the wrong path when it comes to pellets. That's where i buy all my DF and Vermont pellets.

I have heard good things about Pellets-R-Us as well. Congrats on the purchase. I just talked to the folks at Frederickson Farm. They were supposed to be getting some Energex 100% softwoods this year. Turns out they are not coming. They are also sold out of Vermonts until next year.

I am partial to the Lacretes and that is one of the brands I went with this season. Last season I used them and the Vermonts and found Lacretes better for my application. I had used Vermonts the prior year, and the QA had slipped from the previous year-- a risk I will not take again this year. My auger also found a giant pulp clod in in the Vermonts last year which brought my stove to a grinding halt and my hopper drawer to warp. Customer service was very considerate though, but still I will wait to see if things had improved.

With the Vermonts what was the slip in the pellets. I've only use them for the first time last year. Still on the fence if i'm going to use them as a shoulder pellet.
