Pellet pricing - what would you do?

HD has a few tons of Fireside Ultras - $209

Local pellet house:

Barefoot - $259 - 3 ton min
Dry Creek - $249 - 3 ton min
Inferno - $243 - no min
Maine Woods Softwood - $269 - 3 ton min
Turman - $276 - 3 ton min

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
 
Barefoot out of that group at those prices. Run like the wind away from the Inferno"s...

Which local pellet house are you referring to? I'm central mass myself and would like to check them out!

But Barefoot, for sure...
 
I would take the Fireside Ultra's at $209. I used them all this winter, did a great job.

If those prices are from pellets direct, im afraid you missed the boat... Barefoot up to 269. I pulled the trigger for 259 last week, Friday was the last day at 259.
 
I'd wait till next fall, who needs pellets taking up space all summer
 
I pulled the trigger on 5 tons of Barefoot at 259.
 
It's Hubbard's Farm in Princeton MA. For local deliveries he charges me $35/delivery.

I have a fairly large garage and they would keep my bike company in the third bay so storage isn't an issue.

I brought 20 bags of FSU home a week ago and have been burning them since. I like them as their pretty clean and burn clean but don't seem to put out the heat I was getting from the Greene Supremes I used this winter with some Turmans thrown in.

after that nothing strikesme as a great deal.

the best bang for your buck would be the firesides.
