I recently bought a used American harvest pellet stove. I don't understand these things but my anger is not kicking out enough pellets. I have to keep looting pellets in every few minutes .The heat setting is on 9. I have everything set on automatic. Also my agitator does not spin in my pellet pan. The Vitter pin is attached. I am not mechanically inclined. What do I do??

Manual see page 19

Which American harvest do you have 6041, 6039 4 button or 6039 three button? As it is a used stove the first thing I would check is if you have a thermostat clip installed. There should be a small metal clip inserted in your control board were it says tsat. The former owners might have had it hook to a external thermostat. This image says for a 6100 but is is the same for the American harvest. Should be a small metal clip were the yellow arrow points If no clip the stove will run on 1 no matter what you set it on. Is the dash blinking between the P and the 9 when you have it on 9? Unplug stove take off the left side panel and look at the back of your control board.

Can you hear the agitator motor running? If so be aware that there are 2 pins the cotter pin that you are talking about attaches the agitator shaft to the agitator coupler. The agitator coupler is attached to the motor with a roll pin/tension pin that is a type of sear pin and sometimes when the agitator jams in the pot that pin breaks.
