Anybody knows what is the max temperature required for the pellet stove exhaust pipe? Lowes has a fire resisted pipe which can handle max 430F temperature. I don't know if it is ok to be used as the pellet stove exhaust pipe? thanks

You must use pipe that has the listing of L vent on the label
this pipe will be stainless steel.

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER PIPE unless you are installing an insert then you can use stainless flex

Yes, I am planning to install an insert pellet stove. All must be stainless? Aluminum is not good because it is easy melt?

Sounds like it may be gas vent pipe. It must be listed as pellet vent pipe.

type L must be rated for pellet stovve max allowable flue temp standard which is 500F plus ambient. usual rated temp for type L is 570 degrees or higher.
