Pellet stoves and taxes

Hi, I'm new to this site and had a question about sales tax in PA - should dealers who install pellet stoves in PA charge the customer sales tax? I've heard both yes and no.

If anyone could clear this up, or reference a source, that would be very helpful.

I would think the stove and the installation would carry a tax but the pellets would not. At least that's how I read it.

It appears that you are right, if I'm reading the state of PA's website correctly .... thanks for your reply.
