Stamford CT
Anyone know a good place around Faifield County that sells pellets?
Every pellet place I found online is in eastern CT and none will deliver to the Stamford-Greenwich area.

I ordered from BT Pellets in Bristol... not sure if you're too far for them (I'll let them decide lol), but they were very nice to deal with and delivered on time and where I wanted the pellets placed in the garage - would definitely use again :)

I called these guys. There's a 100$+ premium for delivery (100 + per ton) but at least they do deliver.
Sigh! wish more people used wood down here.

That's too bad but even with the $100 per ton delivery fee, it would still be cheaper than oil.

OMG OUCH!!!!! Have you looked into calling over to Westchester / Putnam counties? Not sure if there is an issue with crossing over state lines. Maybe it's time to bribe your buddies and rent a truck for a day :)

It's not a problem. I've been getting pellets delivered from NY for years.

Was that a $100 for the delivery? That's not too bad if you're outside their normal delivery area.

no, that was $100 per ton ! ouch

100 per ton sounds pretty illogical. You might want to call again.

Yeah, that can't be right. Out of curiosity how many miles are you from them, one way?

For $75 a ton plus the cost of the pellets, I'll grab my trailer and bring you as many tons as you want.

I'm looking around here too - BTpellet seems like a good option if I can't find what I need locally. I've heard many use Trading Post in Newtown, as well. I don't know if they deliver to you but they are close to the NY/CT border.

My father in law is in the New Milford area. You do have options w Trading Post, Tractor Supply (recent stocking of all hardwood Instant Heat) and HD/ Lowes. Good luck.

BTPellets in Bristol I believe goes down to you. I think for four tons I paid 135 for delivery.
