Jay, you have to explain what the pig club is...
bdaoust and boomhour - to qualify for the pellet pig club, you have to stash tons of pellets to belong. Not sure what the minimum tonnage is to belong because I only have room to store 1 ton at a time:( Be forewarned, they would really like to raid you stash:eek:

Boomhour, you should start a new thread to introduce yourself and folks like to see pics of your stove! Not sure if anyone else has your stove type - I'm curious;lol Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the new stove:cool:

Thank you, Phil. I am very interested in your stove and almost bought one. There was a small problem with the dealer, person that sold them was on vacation an was was 300 miles away. That being said, I still had to travel 2 and a half hours to buy my stove. Lake Girl - I will be doing a "show and tell" on this stove when time permits.;)

Well looks like Pig Club is not for me. I'm only getting 3 tons and having them garaged delivered. =)

I reviewed the website and the Paromax has great features. Wood gasification like the Palazzetti and the self cleaning burn pot is great. What size area are you heating? I bet the stove is very efficient, how often do you fill thee stove?

Gotta tell ya, it's a good feeling to be part of the club. My wife thinks I'm a jackass, but she's never cold anymore.

Yup was out creating a new club: Lump Pig. Scoring some of the best lump charcoal at less than half price. Self hauling and storing 220lbs and posiibly going back for more today or tomorrow. This way, we will be all set for great grub during the Basement Dwellers meetings

May not have any left though, someone before me scooped up 330lbs (15 bags). Word is getting out on the bbq forums.

Hold on there. 3 ton in the garage delivered is OK if you have to carry them to the basement !

I generally get 4 plus ton delivered to the garage and then sometime in the fall, they are all lugged to the basement prior to winter. Even if you leave them and carry one at a time for burning should fly.

Pics please for seconding the motion. ;)

Ok - just waiting on WoodPellets.com to call me to arrange delivery. Suppose to be by the 15th.

hmmm..... me too. I ordered early April and haven't heard anything yet. I wouldn't doubt that ours are coming on the same day lol.

I got my 4.5 tons from them last week.
And yes, as a member of the Pig Club, I have to manually stack them in the basement.
Just waiting on my wife to get some free time...

Just read the minutes of the meeting. I have three pellet stoves& 4 tons ready to fire up. I did put the pellets on my HD card to take advantage of a 10% off coupon but paid the card off 4 weeks later. I also picked up the pellets with my Ram 1500 that I put exta springs on so that I could get my own pellets with out a trailer.
Where does this put me in the pellet pig universe?

sounds like u may get into the club:p

Lets see............ 4 ton, hauled yourself in a half ton. And 3 stoves, in 2 different houses?

You got my vote. A second nomination by another member in good standing is normally needed.

Pigs are never in good standing as they are always rolling in pellet piles.

I second now if some other kind Oinker will call the meeting, perhaps business can be conducted.

Hi Phil! I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. I had emergency surgery last week. I've been out of sorts for a bit. I am heating 1300 sq. ft. The stove is very efficient and similar to your stove, with the forced-air burn which I am hoping will save me money and not have to seek out some higher-end pellets. The self-cleaning burn pot is one of the features that sold me on this stove. Not worrying about build-up of clinkers is a great thing. I would love to turn this stove down to a three-quarter an hour burn rate in these warmer temperatures as the stove is just that hot.

I may be jumping the gun, but I'm changing my avatar anyway.
