I have an existing 8" pipe from the ceiling up to the outside. I got rid of my old stove and my new stove requires a 6" pipe. The increaser won't fit on the 8" double wall pipe at the ceiling. Is there anything else to attach them? Can I just run a 6" pipe from the stove all the way through the 8" double wall pipe to the top? If so how do I cap the ceiling section where the 6" goes into the 8" and then on the top side?
thanks

You probably need a double wall adaptor at the ceiling level to attach it to.

You can't run 6" black pipe all the way up, but you could go to a 6" liner or something inside the old 8". They make trim rings for that purpose.
