Pipe length equivalents?

I am trying to pin down the head for my system piping now that I have everything installed. I want to make sure I get the right pump.

Can someone point me to a good resource for pipe length equivalents?

Also, do you factor for,

Full port ball valves?

Couplings?

Male or female adapters?
